Great stuff, Beth. I'm big on digging into legacies and this one was incredibly interesting and it is a treasure for your family. Well done. It's amazing.

Thank you so for your positive response to my story. I really appreciate the six stars on a story I think had just gone off the active list.

Well written. Interesting story.
35,000,000 you say.
One of my brothers has done a Herculean job of ancestral searching. He's dated us to three generation prior to Adam. (at least a long way back)
Best wishes.

Thank you Wayne, I think your brother might have me beat. I went back to 1100 on one line but I wasn't sure I could trust it. I don't most of that 35 million know their line goes back that far. You have to be really interested to get into it. I appreciate you reviewing my stories.

Thank you for all the work you are doing in researching and tracking the information. I especially liked the inclusion of the letter and that he said, "The Federals treat us very well." What a good thing to know that the prisoners were well treated as they were both Americans!
Comments:
a group of Separatist (Separatists)
and the Carver's took (Carvers) plural
Question about John Howland who sometimes is John Howell in "John Howell became free" and "Howell and Tilley descendants "

Thank you so much for the review and for noticing the misspelling. Howland is correct. I saw two places where is was misspelled. I hope I didn't miss any. I don't know if the prisoners were treated as well everywhere but at least there they were.

I would imagine President Lincoln reminding them that the Rebel army was full of fellow Americans. I hope they all were treated well.

WOW!! How great is that. I enjoyed reading. I know I say it every time I read, but this is a great service to your family. They may not appreciate it now, but one day they will.

We can't change the past, only the future. But going back in time, which I was never interested in, is just like shoring up the fountain of a house. Giving us a base of understanding. And to think, had you not sparked my interest, I never would have even considered genealogy. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you again for another review. I'm glad I sparked your interest. Don't forget I want to know more about that meeting with the daughter you didn't know about, if and when you're willing to share.

Thanks for the interest, Beth, and I'll certainly fill you in after we've met in person and gotten to know each other better. :-)

Thank you Ann, I hope I can continue to find stories about them. Two of four children are interested. I'm hoping the other two and my three grandchildren will develop and an interest at some point. It is addictive.

Of course your children understand names are attached to
stories, right, Beth? You did a great job sorting through all
of the names and positions. Your description about the man
falling into the churning sea during the storm was well done.
Wow, the number of descendants worldwide from the Mayflower
individuals is staggering. I commend you for your meticulous
research. The letter at the end was amazing to read and the know
the original is still around.
alone as a speculator, -->spectator

Thank you Jan for a great review. Most of those people whose ancestors were on the Mayflower will never realize it unless they trace their family lines.

Wow, you do have a very large family of ancestors, Beth! I lost track of all the names, but the little antidotes you shared are interesting. I have Warrens in my family tree too so I was hoping there might be a connection. lol Thanks for sharing this.

Thank you Judy. There are a lot of people that never realize they are connected until they trace their lines back. My Warren line is way for back. I appreciate the great review.
