Another fine poem, Jesse....it's a subject that is hard to make fun of (unless you're a Republican), and I'm dreading the summer, but you've accomplished it

Ha ha...I wish it would rain everyday!
Love the satire, indeed, the only way to
look at current life and situations sometimes!!
You're better off if you can chuckle/laugh.
Love the repeating line, a little touch
of irony, ha ha.
Blessings...

I know you love the rains and storms and wish they would never go away.
I am happy for the sixer and yes, I agree satire is the only way we can look at current situations! Smile through it all!
Thanks for pointing out your love of the repeating line.
Take good care of yourself, my friend!

Your well-written poem is lighthearted and amusing. The weather is a hot topic; it--to a degree--rules our lives, no matter how we feel about the topic of climate change,

Jesse,
Climate change is strange - like all of us. We can always have a better day when we look at it the right way: 'Isn't it a beautiful day'.
Floods, fires, drought and devastation - we've seen it all before and somehow survived the horrors of nature. We have much to learn.

You are right, Jesse. Climate change is a never ending topic
with many--esp politicians. You did a good job with your
poem. The lines are smooth and your words create great
imagery. We, too, are in a severe drought with wildfires
in many areas. There's so much to understand about
climate. I enjoyed reading your poem.
Thanks for sharing, Jan

Look at Lake Mead in Nevada. History is coming back to haunt everyone living or visiting the state. Dead bodies, bones, garbage, boats lying under the water where people swim. Rust and flesh seeping on live bodies. No matter how much treatment is used to drink, that water is sickening. Thank you for the awareness. We are dying in our own pollution.

Wow, Carolyn, I wasn't aware of how bad it was at Lake Mead, Nevada! I agree we are dying of our own pollution and nobody wants to take it seriously. So a little satire goes a long way toward making people aware.
    Thanks for the info!

I doubt we will be able to prevent climate change despite our efforts to make changes, I am loving your rhymes here and your light-hearted touch too, love Dolly x

Good to see you back, Jesse! Appreciate your lighthearted poem about the whole climate confusion. As humans, everyone wants to blame something but it's not that simple. It would mean every human would have to change something to help the rest of the planet and we can't legislate that. But we can appreciate the sunny days when we have them! Hope CA will get enough rains - wish we could send you all some of ours - at night, of course!

Helping the planet is what we need and must do in order to stop the ever-increasing changes of Climate Change.
Hope and faith in humankind are still something we can achieve.
I believe we can do it! This light-hearted satire only lends a hand in bringing about awareness. We still need to care for each other and our planet.
I like to keep it light yet sometimes I get riled a bit. Thanks for letting me share.

I like your theme here. We hear so much about climate change and I often wonder how much of it we contribute to. I know in California you have many sunny days. Excellent rhyming of second and forth lines.
