Wow it seems like you had a lot of memories packed into a six month period with Mr. Stone. My football coach and I had that kind of relationship. I actually baby sat for him. Good luck in the contest.

Well said, your appreciation, of Mr Stone. Amazing how many teachers have left a positive influence that is rarely given credit. This was a well-organized contest, and seemingly appreciate by a few students who learned how there toast got buttered.

An awesome story entry
for the A Memorable Teacher writing prompt contest. Great imagery. It flows well with beautifully descriptive words that paint a clear mental picture.

Mr Stone.... sounds like a great teacher.

I still remember my teacher and im a teacher too. It's one of the best jobs in the world.

The essay form is well executed.

Good luck in the contest!

The objective correlative of your work reminisces the stone glare of the protagonist's English Teacher, who doubled as a Physical Education Teacher and how his preoccupations over his student saw the protagonist coming out better in life.

The work highlights his competence as an English Teacher; his foray into Physical Education and how his inclination to care for his students endeared him to the protagonist.

The work earns its texture through its effective use of anecdotes synonymous with the sterling qualities of a teacher.

Excellent work. Bravo.

Many people treasure the memory of one teacher above all others who made a difference. I had one like that and your Mr Stone was certainly a character.

I had a problem with this though which is why this is only a four star at the moment. Sort it out and let me know and I will look at it again with a view to an upgrade.:
'...and enjoyed enduring us with long, cross-country runs.' This is not the correct use of the verb to endure. He inflicted he runs on you who had to endure that.

The problem has been sorted and I am pleased to upgrade this to a five star review.

You give us a fairly clear impression of Mr. Stone the man, but I would like to see him as a teacher. I paragraph 3 you say he had a "unique way of involving everyone in the lesson," but don't SHOW us how. Cite examples, especially how he involved YOU.

Hello mystery writer a good day to you. I hope all is well. Thanks for sharing your story, I liked it, made me think of my favorite teacher. It was my English teacher from Highschool. Funny how you don't realize the impact someone has on your life until years later or after their gone. Good Job and good luck in the contest.
