You elected for the cross rhyme (old/hold) as your initial example of internal rhyme and because there had to be end rhyme (gold/untold) that gave you two examples of another form of internal rhyme, where the end syllable rhes with an earlier syllable on the same line. so you hsave met the challenge in spades.

Given how unreliable memory can be (and even the way we collectively remember history), I think photographs are one of the best tools we have. More than that, of course, they're a personal, emotional link to our own pasts. Great piece for the contest :-)
