A very nice tribute to your favorite teacher. It is odd that many people have as their favorite teacher one from elementary school. Mine was an eighth grade teacher.

This is a beautiful tribute to a teacher who probably had the same effect on many of the children in her classrooms. She sounds like a delightful, caring person who, because of her personality, was probably able to teach children many things. I wish you the best in the contest.

My wife is a third grade teacher. We don't have any kids so all the motherly love she has goes to her students. We can't go into Walmart without her being approached by a former student. Good luck in the contest.

How nice this is! I think everyone needed to have a teacher like this in our past. I had some positive influences, some teachers I liked and some I didn't appreciate until I was able to look back and see what they really did for me! Your Mrs. Bates sounds awesome. Thank you for sharing her!

Hello mystery writer a good day to you. I hope all is well. Thanks for sharing your story, I liked it, made me think of my favorite teacher. It was my English teacher from Highschool. Funny how you don't realize the impact someone has on your life until years later or after their gone. Good Job and good luck in the contest.
