Reese,
This fits the contest well and is a good one for all those who are constant travelers.
Good luck with the prompt.
Keep writing and stay healthy.

My offering speaks truth: I have already outlined my epitaph for my daughters to go by. I sure do not want their opinion spoken out loud! We are still close enough that, even grown with children, they are eager to set me straight. Thanks for stopping by my place.

Nice to hear from you Reese. I hope this is fiction and you are still able to afford the gas for your extended RV tour and not sending this back from the great beyond via some charlatan medium! Funny, I thought this was a blind entry contest. Hmmmm. Sue

Me thinks it is not ESP by which you know me. Indeed, most of my offerings just rearrange things you already know. Always good to hear from you.

I read the poem few times thinking 'this author is writing his own epitaph.' I hadn't noticed that was the contest requirement.
It makes perfect sense now. Many travels through life with visits to many countries but none to compare with the final destination plans, through the Master's galaxy.
Warmly,
Juliette

When I was young, a very popular movie was "Let no man write my epitaph". One of those things that has stuck with me. I am 74 with a weaker heart and I have written my own for my family to read. So, this prompt was a natural! Of course, mine is much longer; I am a Texan. Our philosophy is "why use one word when twelve will do?" Thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts.

He is on a journey of no return. He can fly all around the universe. Not worrying about a schedule. Not worrying about being late. No clocks to wind. This was a great story. Thank you for sharing.

And can you imagine the movies on those flights! How he made the earth and stars all of us and the variety of animals and plants. I want to watch them all! Thanks for stopping by and sharing.
