Time may have passed, years have gone by, but the sorrow remains. The beauty of the rose reflects the beauty of the life cut short, or one that we wish had lasted much longer.

Interesting poem- Vivid description of a picture or painting- your description of a blue chiffon rose is clear - and that it is growing around a grave being watered with river of tears- good presentation

I hope someday I can see those blue roses you always mention. I've only seen the lavender roses. Here I can't grow roses because of the deer.
You painted a great picture with this poem with the tender grieving of "watered with river of tears."

Unfortunately, there aren't any true blue roses, just hybrid ones. Thank you very much for your time and kind words, Helen. I appreciate it.

What a wonderful idea of having a blue chiffon rose as the flower for a grave, Gypsy. Your words expressed that tears kept it watered. Blessed be n hugs!

You always manage to say so much in so few syllables. This is no exception. The poem was beautiful, as were the images you selected to share. Best wishes.

Great poem, Gypsy! I didn't know blue chiffon roses existed, but now that I know, they might be my favorite! Your twist is slightly disturbing, as is intended. It makes my heart weep. I enjoyed it very much. Good luck in the club event!
