Your contest entry is in good form, Gypsy. I like its
presentation--the color scheme, the beautiful image,
and your meaningful words for such a short poem.
I like the way you used the words water rings. They
surround the band and carry it outward for eternity.
I am wondering if your title Broken Promises and then
Broken Vows should be the same--one or the other.

I like that a ring is supposed to signify eternity, then causes ripple into eternity when the ring is thrown into the water. Very clever of you. Thank you for sharing.

Of course the ring is the sign of the eternal, no beginning and no end, but if that's violated what then? There ceases to be a meaning fo a covenant, "Till death us do part" that means there's no value in words. Beautifully written Gypsy, blessings Roy
