You did a great job with your tribute to your
Grandmother Annie, Beth. I enjoyed reading it.
Life was so different then, it's hard to imagine
how it was, unless someone shares about it such
as in your post. However, that kind of life was
all they knew. Your grandmother was woman of
many talents. I would almost say self sufficient to
a point. I can't imagine a home with so many
children under its roof. Your family history is
interesting.
Thanks for sharing a look into it, Jan

Thank goodness for birth control pills. Bringing up so many children sounds scary to me. The generation before us depended on the church for its social life I enjoyed this trip back into another time.

Thanks for the review. I agree about the birth control. I'm glad I didn't live in those days. If the women were healthy they kept having children until they were no longer healthy and most of them died and their husbands remarried and kept having children.

What a wonderful tribute to your Granny Annie. It is clearly presented in chronological order. Although she didn't have formal education, she seemed to have been a wise woman, with plenty of common sense. A copy of this should be given to your child because the history is important and well-stated.
There is a typo error near the end~~Kids were just another mouth to feel and to train. (Change feel to feed) Well-done!

Thank you Sandra, I really appreciate the review and comments. I glad you spotted the error. Common sense is sometimes more valuable than book learning.

Amen, book sense may get one a job, but common sense keeps one alive.

I only spotted one small error in the next to last paragraph. You left out the word (had) she had no fear of dying. Other than that, it is a lovely story and very well written. I enjoyed reading this. Nice work.
