A fond wish to allow life to conclude with a joyful moment, and an expression of love for another person. We all hope to see a life end in this manner.

I'm not sure poetry will be on my mind as I take my final breath, but you never know. My husband died in his sleep with his eyes closed and he peacefully slipped away, a moment I shall never forget as the family sat silently by his bed, a very sad time for us, a poignant write, love Dolly x

This is a beautiful presentation, Gypsy. The colored fonts
are awesome. I like the black background--sets off your
words and image perfectly. Great job with the style of this
poem. I see the meaning as twofold--one--the literal sunset
and two the time when a beloved spouse is near death and
the sun sets on their time on Earth. The other spouse will
be there forever.
Respectfully, Jan

The author's words are heart warming, gentle, sweet, loving, kind,
and creative. I pondered on these words and found them to be
beautifully said. The poem flows and connects well. The artwork
is awesome and compliments these words.
Great poem, Gypsy, I hope you are doing well.....Maria

This work has reached the exceptional level

I enjoyed this poem- as I interpreted it- the poem is not convoluted- not verbose- flows very well- LA- LI- EYE - gives it a rare- very enjoyable- smooth poetic quality. - The sun- the eye closing (transcendence) as it sinks beneath the horizon- out of form- the last thing seen-.
Your eyes- farewell past life's reflection. Good picture presentation- good job

Wow. Interesting and beautiful. Stunning image. Even just watching such a beautiful sunset before death would be pleasing, but the addition of "in your eyes" implies that she has a loved one to share her final moments with. Makes it even more beautiful!

This is sad and very romantic. The picture suits the poem to a tee. The sunset in your eyes is a beautiful way to say goodbye to a loved one when one knows that they are going to pass away soon. The Japanese know just how to say things in the most creative way.
I hope you are doing well, my friend.
Take good care of yourself,
Jesse

If you're going to go, I can't think of a better way. I've never heard of this poetry form, but it's interesting to read about it and you've crafted a very nice "final poem".
