This is a good ekphrastic poem for this photo your husband cook.
It seems like Harley is really enjoying taking in the scenery from the kayak.
Do many dogs go on kayaks?

Thank you for going back into my files and reading this poem. I appreciate it. Yes, Harely enjoyed his kayak trip. He doesn't normally do this, but my husband wanted to try it. It worked. He usually says home with me.

That's right, Dougie Fresh (that is my super hero name) is going around the Fanstory multi-verse righting literary wrongs. This one was a "no-brainer!"

Thank you for going back and reading this poem. As you can easily see, poetry isn't my strong area. I never thought Harley would stay in that kayak. I was shocked. He's my favorite writing buddy and is sitting beside me as I type this. He's a beside dog, not an on you dog. We work well together.

Washington crossing the Deleware would be a remarkable sight to see.
Probably not as enjoyable as Harley's excursion though.

I do love a good dog poem and this told a story of, if the picture is anything to go by, a cute little dog having fun. Mine would be scared and capsize the kayak lol. Thank you for sharing and take care.

Love the photo, poem and notes! Harley is magnificent! He really is a personality, just like Sunny. I am sure they would get on so well. Our Sunny does not appear to like water - but maybe he would feel secure in a boat or kayak too. Who knows?!!
