Oh, yes, time keeps ticking right along. Clocks are a constant reminder of our limited time here on earth. At least, we can have an attractive clock like some pictured above. Well written, expressive piece

A very well written poem. You have managed to maintain all the rules of the prompt. I love the last two lines and especially the phrase...push us through time. All the best to you in the contest.

Time is such a mystery to us humans as we journey on - we are so bound by it and can never escape its influence- an interesting reflection on those instruments of time here - the clocks - lovely clocks in the visual

I like that. With the first couple of lines, I thought it might be an entry in the "Children's Rhyming Poem" contest, so the end surprised me. Really clever - well done.

I enjoyed this piece. I especially like the idea of clock hands pushing us through time even though they can't move from one place to another.

I don't believe we have a set number of minutes on earth, but if it is one's belief this is the poem for you! I love that last line - hands on a clock pushing both time and our moments here forward.

-Very nice artwork and presentation.
-The syllable count is good, along with the topic.
-I like the opening lines and the sound of clocks.
-A very good closing line with effective use
of personification to show that
"they push us through time."
-An sometimes too fast, too!
-A very good entry; good luck.

    Thank you, Pam, for your review and all the stars. I do get pushed too fast at times, so I set one clock ahead of the others by 10 minutes. This helps me get out of the house on time. I am seldom early for anything. Lol.

What a creative idea to use personification of clocks to move their hands to push us through time. The tetractys looks like a fun kind of poem to write. I hope it does very well in the contest.

The author's words are interesting, clear, descriptive and creative.
Thank you for the author's notes - they are so true. I pondered
on being thankful for each day because we don't know when our
time is up. The author's words and artwork are thought provoking.
