Yes Nebuchadnezer was the one who ate grass, and experienced the soaking from the dew of heaven, for his pride, Belshazzar experience the writing on the wall, and Daniel explained what it meant. I'm so glad you're you're writing this Brett, I love ancient history, of course Babylon will never be again, a habitation of jackals and desert, well done, blessings Roy

You certainly have discovered a lot about this region. I know there must be a lot of scholars interested in ancient history who would likely want to see all this information in a book. In the Bible there is the story of war in Heaven between God and Satin. The whole Bible is sort of story of war between good and evil. I guess Morduk was suppose to represent good.

Once again, your extensive research educated us. Thank you.
A relief portrait of Hammurabi hangs over the doors to the House Chamber of the US Capitol building. (Interesting. I did not know this.)

Yeah, the good old Nebuchadnezzar. I actually learned about him in school, and a lot of the history you're covering. I've always been my fascinated about that era. I have to admire you, Brett. You've put a lot of research into this, and it's well written. Ulla:)))

I have to give you credit for taking on a project of ancient history. The only thing I know about Babylon I read in the Bible You've done a lot of research and it's evident. Thanks for sharing.

Your writing is always outstanding with whatever you post, but all of chapters of the "Sea of Galilee" are so much more than just great writing, it's the passion and hard work that puts it over the top. Thanks for sharing.

This is so informative, Brett. I wish that I had more time to study your posts. As a history major, I love this type of essay. It is well documented and interesting. Your organization is helpful, filling in lots of blanks in my mind.

You are right, the thrill of the research is sometimes greater than writing the piece. Have you noticed that the more we study the past, the more it fits the Bible? What a wonderfully written essay. Best of luck with your writing!
Have a great day, and God bless.
