This is quite a cute entry for the Children's Poem prompt. A fun take on one of my favorite nursery rhymes.

This is an entertaining re-jigging of the original fairy tale. Kids should enjoy it as it shows them the fun to be had with imagination, as well as carrying a good message.

That is cute. However, he is a mess. He was too confident. I know the children will like this poem. The picture is great, it fits perfectly with the story. I guess he felt lucky not be be fried. Thank you for sharing.

Every time I come across this character I wonder how come he manage to shapeshift from his original form as a huge cannon to his later manifestation as a egg. I can only presume it is because h could not be put together again as every omelette maker has discovered.
