Many ways to approach mental health awareness...
Humor is a great ice breaker!
I enjoyed your whimsical nod at a quite serious issue.
Many more will relate with a smile...
Smiles open minds...

Thank you for the fantastic review, Karenina. Yeah, I figured I'd throw some humor in the mix. Lol. I do that a lot. I really appreciate the generous stars. I'm glad you liked this silliness..

I do tongue in cheek quite a bit as well...
It doesn't always go over as well as yours, but it's meant to!

Excellent poem!!! I love the way you approached mental health
in a whimsical way. The topic should be discussed more freely.
Perhaps your poem will spark some dinner-time conversations.
Well done and thanks for sharing.

Thank you for the great review, KLR. I usually have to go against the grain in these contests. I figured I'd throw something humorous in the bunch. Lol. I really appreciate the stars. I'm glad you liked this silliness.

Wow, thank you so much for the fantastic review and big sixer, Mary. I figured I had to get a little humor added in the mix. Lol. I dearly appreciate the gracious stars and good luck wishes. I'm glad you liked this silly piece. Thank you again.

Very clever - humorous and witty, and I love the ending! (I would suggest for the last line "... I have a giant fear of lists").
You've got every phobia that's going, and then some!! Your poem has rhythm and rhyme (not sure about metre, as I'm no good at that - it's one of my fears, that people will notice!. There must be a name for that, probably nometrephobia!) I like the creative and original way you have handled the topic for the contest. Best wishes for your entry.

Lol. Yeah, I wasn't to graceful with the meter on this one. Ha. When I looked it up, I couldn't believe some of the phobias that are out there. The fear of gravity? Haha. And there's a name for it.
Thank you so much for the fantastic review and giant six, Wendy. I'll give the last line suggestion some thought. I really appreciate it, Wendy. I'm glad you liked this silliness. Thank you again.

You are one sick puppy! Staying home is a good idea - then you can keep writing things to entertain us. Making fun of the unfunny is a gift. I bet you had fun looking up those phobias and seeing their potential.

Haha, It was a blast. I just couldn't believe how many weird phobias are out there. The best one has to be the fear of gravity. That would be a bummer having that fear. Lol. Thank you for the great review, Lisa. Yeah, you know me, I have to find humor in everything. Ha. Have a great day, L. Thank you again.

I am glad you managed to put a humorous slant on this, it is refreshing and gives us all hope that there is life after hell! I am a firm believer in the value of mirth in the face of adversity, and you reaffirm my belief. Kate xx

I really enjoyed reading your poem. I like the rhymes and the way the words flow. It's very different than my own take on mental illness, but it's no less valid. Thanks for sharing.
