That's funny, Bill. The gals had a laugh on dad.
My daughter and I both have white SUVs, as does the whole world, it seems. I know my license plate number, if I can just remember where I parked it.

Thanks for the great review and comments. At the time that we rented the car, I was in Juneau, and that year the color of the year was maroon. Every other car was maroon, and all the makes look alike. It was frustrating. Oh well.

Thanks for the kind review and comments. When I was growing up a person could tell a Pontiac from a Ford Fairlane, now they all look alike.

I bet if this scenario actually happened you would be frightened instead of finding it humorous. The cops would be called. Have you ever come out of a store and tried to find where you parked your car? What if a man would be sitting in your car? What would you do?

I don't own a car being a 11th grader but I really don't hope that I will get a car that most people own around the area. I want something unique and old that still works and stands out to other cars. Great work and keep it up.

Thanks so much for the great review Adam. There is something to be said about having a car that is a different color. If you decide to buy one like that, just make sure you can get matching paint from the dealer in case you ever need to touch it up.

Thanks for taking the time to read and review this story. At the time, the popular color was maroon. Every other car in the parking lots was maroon. Fortunately that color doesn't match anyone's skin, so no calls of discrimination.

I was speaking cars, as to my last "so many being white" and I too have trouble identifying my Edge vs all others.

Thanks so much for the excellent review and comments. The popular color for cars at the time was maroon. I couldn't find a picture of a maroon car though. It seems every year there is one color that the manufacturers all seem to choose. It's frustrating.

She then drove home, settled down for the rest of the weekend, and on the Wednesday when it was her turn to do the school run, opened her car boot for the kid's satchels to find it full of bags of spoiling fresh and obviously once frozen food. The mind boggles!

Now what I can't figure out is why I didn't get notified of this post when I know I "fanned" you. I didn't get notified of one of Nancy's posts either. So I'm wondering if this is some kind of test and I'm failing...

Well, this is supposed to be a blind contest, so I suppose that would account for that. In any event, I understand exactly about the look of shock when you tried getting into the wrong car. I don't know if cell phones were around back then, but I'm sure the gal would have been tempted to call the cops, having some stranger attempting to get into her car. Thanks so much for the great review.

I can relate to your story - I've seen this happen numerous times. Not to myself, as I have an older car with a distinctive colour (that year, so long ago, the colour was probably common). Rental cars especially mostly look the same.
