Once you said "new bride," I understood. I made many laughable mistakes as a new bride. Yes, the best thing to do is take rubber gloves off, turn them inside out and use paper towel to dry them. Well, at least you know now. Great story. Best wishes in the contest.

Hello author, very good, very cute. Being a newlywed, hubby's suggestion was taken lightly. Go down the road about 10 or 20 years, the seasoned wife might turn those rubber gloves into boxing gloves and give him a good clout on the head, and then tell him to do the dishes. Lol. A fun entry.
