Oh! Well! How do you REALLY FEEL!?

Lol... Well they do have those "quills" for sure...and a quill by any other name...

Oh, pshaw! It's just plain funny!

Good fun!

That is what you'd either call "clever wordplay" or "terrible pun." :)
Your limerick was great, though, and I enjoyed reading it. Thanks for sharing.

An utterly perfect Limerick with all the required elements achieved and in good humour and impeccable good taste.

I am very much enjoying your series of Limericks, full of adventure and all completely unique. :)

Hi Debra,
I enjoyed your limerick. They are always fun, and sometimes naughty. You did well in both categories.
The hare reminds me of the white rabbit in Alice in Wonderland. And hedgehogs are a bit prickly, aren't they? I can't imagine having one for pet. How would you cuddle it?
Nice to see wildlife sticking together!
You should have saved this for a limerick contest. It would have been a contender.
Hugs,
Kimbob

AaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaHAHAHAHAHA!!!! STOP!!! You're going to make me use up the only two sixes I have left, you!!!!!!! I just STARTED reviewing!

Debra, all kidding aside, this should have been a contest entry. "Bawdy" is a term used to describe the limerick, and this one IS, and harmless. I LOVED it!

Ha ha ha, this is hilarious, well rhymed and I loved it Debra. A great play on words for the spiky hedgehog! This Limerick definitely deserved a six, love Dolly x

Another funny picture to inspire a funny limerick! I like your pun at the end of the prickly hedgehog being "a prick." I'm curious as to what the back of his suit looks like. Do the needles all poke through? Lol.

A superb limerick, Debra. I
enjoy fun limericks with a
twist. I know with the stressed/unstressed words
it can't be easy to write. You
have done so well. Blessings.

Haha! This is very funny. It should have been a contest entry. I think it would have done well. It's a perfect limerick with four lines telling a story, and the fifth line tying the previous lines together with a humorous twist. Well done. The picture you selected paired perfectly.

Hello Debra, Very good, very cute. I am grinning. Just turn the TV on and you will hear and see far worse words. Of special note:

They wouldn't have thought they would click
(That is so true about so many relationships ...
marriage, friends, business, writers and poets too.)

Great photo choice. This poem made me smile, and the world certainly needs more smiles. A fun Limerick. Limericks are suppose to be a little naughty. Keep the blue waters flowing. LateBloomer
