And you came up with so many great ideas. ideas we all know but might not have come up with when writing a piece like this. Loved your work. The last two lines really pulled it all together and i wondered after each line 'can she come up with anything more original' and yes you did.

Did you post this on Facebook? A friend of mine had actually shared this a few days ago so, in fact, I actually read this on Facebook before I read it here.
As a cat lover myself (I'd say "cat owner," but we both know they own us, not the other way around), I can fully relate to everything you said. My cat definitely feels the world revolves around her, to the point where, if we don't feed her soon enough, she'll knock a bag of cat food over and feed herself. Then, as I'm cleaning up the mess she made, she'll look at me with that beautiful, innocent face, until I'm apologizing to her for not feeding her sooner.
