That was the problem with the masks during Covid. If you can't see everything, every expression the person is making you lose at least half of the meaning of the discussion. Much the same as how entanglements erupt on the internet. I have had one bad experience on FanStory where my review was taken as totally negative because I couldn't express myself fully without using my 'body language'.

We keep being told to watch what we say; meanwhile, others are watching what we DO. Your statement is definitely true and we often give ourselves away by our unconscious mannerisms.

You are not kidding. Some body language I am seeing on television makes me cringe. I do not understand why so many women expose their bodies in Hollywood. They seem in love with themselves. Beauty is skin deep. Why can't they show the world their inner beauty? Thank you for sharing.

this is such a good point. I think it's something like 80% of communication is through body language. It's so important to be able to read body language and talk to people in person so you can see how they really feel or what they really mean by the words that they are saying. I enjoyed this.
