Excellent entry for the Free Form Poetry Contest. You grasped the form well. Nice presentation. Your descriptive words flow well expressing clear mental imagery. Nature is a great source of inspiration.
Good luck in the contest.

A wonderful entry for the contest. I really enjoyed reading this. I can picture the flowers moving in the breeze and can smell their fragrance. Well done.

Beautiful! This is a beautiful entry for the free verse contest! I'm not sure where the contest stands, but if it hasn't been announced yet I wish you much success. Best, JohnC

Thank you, John, for your generous words. No cigar this time though, my poem was up against some great poets though, do not too surprised. Lol

Thank you for sharing this free form contest entry with us. No, Mother Nature is far from quiet. All we need to do is to be open to her and she'll fill our ears, eyes, and soul with beauty. Good luck with the contest. I feel you'll show well.

Beautiful imagery in this poem. Each detail was meticulously well-crafted and vivid. I especially love the line "Lost amid the golden silence of requited love". It works so well in the stanza. Excellent poem, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I really loved this poem. I could feel the breezes blowing through the flowers, and the bees buzzing as they did their little bee business, flitting from flower to flower, as bees do. You painted such a romantic picture of it all, I felt as though I were in a fairyland. It deserves a 6, but I can't find one! :( Susan :)

It looks like you tried to post a picture but it didn't come out. May have to resize it first? At least I was unable to see it.
This is a lovely free verse poem, full of the wonder of God's creations and how they coexist and depend on each other while bringing us such beauty and happiness.
Great effort, good luck!

Not sure why you couldn't see the picture...No one else mentioned it... So I am at a loss why.

A lovely journey through your garden, enhanced with great imagery and full of love for your garden. I love the in line rhyming. I too love my garden, that is coming to the end of blossoms, but the weeds still persist. good luck in the contest.

Pansies? I saw gaily painted upturned faces.
After that I couldn't find any other identifiable plant. Still, you paint quie the picture, standing without a frame, almost like those little books we flipped as kids that told the story in a flash of action from beginning to the back page.
