Ahh! Love! My wandered a bit with this one and how Mike and I use to be...he was so special and treated me much in this way. I'd had a rocky marriage before and he was beyond patient. I loved this!

Editing comes easy after you re-read the story you have written. I have also done that with my novels. You mentioned this novel is finished...I have to catch up with reading some of the chapters.

I haven't long being back here at Fanstory, so unfortunately haven't had much of a chance to read too much content.
I am happy I passed by and read this chapter of this story.
I found it a very easy read and had a great flow and storyline that held me captive and wanting to read on... so that's a great sign to the quality of the story and how it is written.

I like these characters and think you're doing a really good job. I love these wholesome, good folks and appreciate writers who still offer them to us.
I was reading a book not long ago and was thinking to myself that I didn't care too much for the MC - she was fine, but she was strong-willed and in charge and the man seemed to let her run everything. Bleh. And it wasn't until THAT MOMENT that I realized why I write Westerns or why all my novels end up heading out West. hahaha I like men who are MEN. Who are the ones the women lean on. I like strong women, sure, absolutely. But I also adore strong men! What in the world is wrong with a strong man?!!!! The world has gone nuts!

Thank you for the encouragement. Yes, Cord is strong and he has his faults, but he is also a gentleman when he needs to be.

I edit in my manuscript. On the day I'm posting, I reread, and end up editing there too. For my final edit, I'll copy and past from FS.

I like the fact that the scene with the snake is fast paced. The dialogues are short in this part, appropriately for such a situation. I would develop Cordero/Jorge scene a bit.
