I enjoyed the poem! Good for you, working hard to prove yourself. My heart cries for you, missing your own children's lives! I have my own faces of motherhood, but my journey was much different than yours. Good poem!

Like your poem. Mental illness happens to a family often. It is something that you never want to happen and thank God there is treatment out there for it. If there is abuse and violence, that can lead to stress; and if there is stress, there is anxiety. I will never judge someone who has had this illness because of that reason.

A great Mom's Day poem. The rhyming is well done, as is the rhythm of the poem...sometimes people seem to do OK with the rhyming and then blow it with the rhythm. These types of poems require both. I wondered about this line, "Though as mother, she's been judged unfit", dropping out the 'been' might help the poem's pace (rhythm.)
