This is a great post. And the picture is great, it goes perfectly with the poem. There are many people who did not have parents. And I hate saying this, sometimes they are better off. Some people should not be parents. Kids are getting killed everyday from being murdered by their own parents. Drugs are all around. It is shameful. Your story is heartfelt.

The way the child says, "I'm happy and glad," sounds exactly the way a child would talk. Nice story with just three lines, and the picture is adorable - I assume narrator and dad:-)
