Absolutely beautiful work here, Yardier. I see why this is a recognized work. I am endlessly impressed with poets that can tell an entire narrative in such a small word allowance. You've done a great job here. As your author's notes confirm, true love truly does wash away the pain of heartache. The best remedy there is. Thank you for sharing - keep writing!

Thia poem is brilliant. You perfectly describe heartache and sorrow and desperation in the first half of the poem, and in the second half, joy, love, and felicity. Very well done, and thank you for sharing.

Ten words are hardly enough to make a 150 character review about!
I like the poem and agree that love is both sides of the spectrum.
I guess I could comment on your title. It could use an apostrophe - Love's Door. Thank you for the thoughtful poem, and best of luck in the contest!

It's not easy to write a ten word poem, nor any short form poem for that matter, so well done, you've struck on a worthwhile theme. You've done a good job with this, good luck, blessings Roy

"Everyone can describe a time when their heart flutters because they saw their first love or crush. And everyone can describe a time of intense heart pain when they were crushed by their first love, too."

I am always interested to see how each author will tackle these ten-word challenges... Yours spans farther than ten words would seem to be able to! I agree... Love, at its finest, brings the greatest joy ~ and if we should lose it, in time, we learn to find joy again in memories...

This ten-word poem, Love's Doorway, has the required limited wording and shows the reader the exit and entrance of love and romance.

Well, I find your poem rather inventive, and I am betting none other in this challenge writes their piece in a similar style. Best of luck. There isn't much that can be written sensibly in ten words.

Ten words that tell a story, wonderful! It sets up the conclusion beautifully, and it's very relatable to many. Goodbye and hello happens all the time. Best of luck in the contest. :)

You are so right. I have been in that position many times. Now I have my forever love. Your poem expresses the twist and turns love brings, like a roller coaster. The picture reminds me that those emotions are timeless.
