What a beautiful way to celebrate your daughter, it really got to me as I also have a daughter who is all grown up. Wonderful rhyming and sweet picture. Good luck.

This poem, Julie, is well written and acknowledges the achievements of a daughter who has excelled and has passed that gene onto her own kids. Nice.

I don't blame you for being proud, my elder child is a brilliant musician, with two degrees and teaches visual arts, my younger a champion netball player. But non would matter to me, they are wonderful wives, mothers and friends, and daughters, and I think you are proud of her for that, beautifully written Janet, I'm giving you my first six for the week, well done, blessings Roy

Janet,
She sounds like the light of your life from birth to present and beyond as her children will be to her and you. This is a good song in praise of her accomplishments. It could also be read as a birthday poem.
Keep writnig and stay healthy
Good luck in the contest.

This warms my heart, even as I must intake the upcoming cremation of my only son, it is just the sort of poem I needed to read, of triumph over adversity, for their must also have been. My greatest respect and admiration for you both, and the six stars the very least for that union that you have...and long may it be...for always.
My best wishes.
Have a pleasant week. I hope to be back to normal soon.

So sorry Roy to take so long to answer your review which I greatly appreciate along with your kind words and the special sixth star. My heart goes out to you for all you have been through in loosing your son.
Grief is difficult and as you know, a process. Sometimes we think we are past the tough part, only to have something trigger it and then there it is as fresh as ever.
You are always in my prayers.
Take care, stay safe and well.

This poem is a lovely tribute to your daughter...She sounds like a delightful person. Your love for her is endless and why not? What's not to love? The picture says it all. God bless both of you.

What a wonderful gift of appreciation and pride you have to give to your daughter, and one she can accept with equal appreciation and pride. Your rhyme and meter are smooth and deliver that positive message smoothly. Thank you for sharing, and I wish her well in her endeavors.

A poem of love and grace that flows well and rhyming makes the work sing. One can feel the love of a proud parent as one moves through the poem. A job well done in expressing motherly love.

Charming poem and lovely supporting notes. I could not determine from the photo which of you is mother, which is daughter. I got the answer from your profile pic.

Thank you Elizabeth for your thoughtful and encouraging review. We are really proud of her and her accomplishments. How sweet that you could possibly mix us up. When she was in college years ago, sometimes people did think we were sister. I loved it.
