I love this, Debra.
Your poem uses the perfect words to describe the little guy. Super cute, BTW.
Short, but it packs a punch.
And thanks for reminding me of lanturnes.

Sorry it took me so long to answer. I wish I had more time to spend here. Now I realise that it's a lot more fun than the MA. And cheaper. Anyway, I loved what you wrote.

Hi Debra,
Isn't that something? ... Two-Face! This kitten's name has to be Harvey Dent! I'm thinking the picture must have been there first.
Thanks for teaching the Lanturne poetic form. I've never tried it.
Hugs,
Kimbob

    Hi Kimbob :)
As with all the poems I wrote during the NaPoWriMo challenge, the picture came first! I just had to write a little something about this cute fellow!
Thanks for your feedback as always ;)

Had a laugh at the photograph, was a treat that little face. All animal lovers would appreciate a half and half. When he grows to adulthood he would have made up his mind - at the mo' black and white what a fright! K xx

Purrfect choice! Maybe a kitten sign that all shades come together beautifully when we see with our hearts? Meow we know!

(I'd adopt her in a heartbeat!)

along with rhyme.

Haha! As soon as I saw the picture I knew what the words would wonder - which shall it be, indeed! Plus, I love cats, so when I see a picture of one I have to dig deeper:-) Cute poem to match this cute kitten.

I found this poem about the tiny kitten very cute. And I wasn't familiar with the Lanturne form of poetry, so thank you very much for all this new information. Much appreciated. Kate xx

Oh this is the cutest kitten ever! Lovely lanturne poem, Debra. Sometimes it can be quite a conundrum to decide which side to come down on re the colour divide. Not to mention what happens when dealing with an issue that rouses strong feelings. A really charming write, especially with that perky "So" to finish it off with a flourish.

Stay safe and blessed, Julia

I love Ekphrastic poems and yours is super cute. Wonderful presentation. The picture is adorable. Good syllables count. I would get rid of the Word So ....but that's just me.
