Lol. It sounds like Missy was very well loved and I'm sure she was welcomed into Heaven by our Savior Who covered all our sins and faults. Sorry I didn't see this in time for the contest!

Thank you, Dear. At least, it came in third-kind of my spot, but I'll take it. I'm way behind people who have been here a long time, but I understand that. A little smile here-Since you told me I can vote for myself, when it asks if I want to give a reason, I think "cause I wrote it." smile.

This was an excellent poem. In my opinion it easily should have won the 5-7-5 pet poem contest, but, everyone's different. Well done. It made me laugh, and I think we've all known a pet like this!

Thank you so much for this great review! Missy lived 9 years and probably loved us more than any other dog who "owned" us, but although she wouldn't mind, we loved her, too.

I laughed at your poem. I had one of those, too! Her name was Lainie, but she looks like a saint compared to the dog I have now. I am glad your Missy would not have minded the post. Best wishes.

Sounds like a dog, my ex-daughter-in-law had. It would refuse to walk. On a leash. You had to carry it back into the house. It was a small dog, thankfully. It would lie down and refused to get up. Thank you for poting, the great picture. And sharing your story on here. Have a great day. And I am sorry to hear about your loss. May Missy rest in peace.

Thank you for your review. When Missy went (or not) to heaven, she was replaced by Jenny, the sweetest dog ever--but not loved more than Missy. Now we don't have a dog, and we miss that.

I understand, it is so sad. Maybe you can get one. Not unless the loss is too hard for your family.

Thank you.
