If the picture is of Troy he was a wonderfully beautiful looking dog, and labs of any color make great companions. Bold. Fearless. Trustworthy are few of their attributes. Worse thing of owning a pet is their dying.

My daughter had a dog like this, Blue was his name. Her boyfriend was named Troy. Anyway, those are smart and beautiful dogs. They do no bite unless they fear something is dreadfully wrong. The picture looks like Blue. Thank you for posting. The dog obviously loved the neighbors' yard.
Thankfully, you knew where to find him.
