Excellent story with great use of your 100 words. So many FF stories have obvious places where a word has been added or left out in order to get the number to 100, but I do not see that here. That shows you have a real talent. Well done and good luck in the contest.

I'm sure there are people who wouldn't have, and that would create a completely different story. That would be an interesting project--two versions of one story. :) Thank you for your kind words.
