This is a superb free verse poem. So true, that where we were young does indeed still play out in our imaginations where it occurred.
I think your presentation is playful and takes right back to your place of birth -- the Mediterranean.

Love this, Gypsy. It's such a windblown, go with the flow, kind of poem. Playful even, although, like life, it has its serious, sad elements. The sensory, concrete imagery draws the reader into the depths of the write. I say again I love this.

Yes, you got it. It's always that will ever be part of me. I've been watching a Spanish show on tv and maybe that is what prompted this poem. Who knows? I never question my muse.
