This is an excellent Senryu, Debra, that showcases delightfully that enigmatic word bromance that seems to be everywhere all of a sudden. I loved your off-the-wall picture. Kate xx

Love You, Bud

Hahaha... I love it! I know a few men that have bromance but are too ashamed to say. Good syllables count and connection between lines. Beautiful presentation.

I find I enjoy observing the dynamics of two male friends . There is often a whole unspoken understanding of body language, cajoling and such . As if there are certain barriers? Gotta keep it macho! Hmm. Very effective senryu!

I learned a new word today: bromance! Another fun poem in short verse ekphrastic poetry, and aptly illustrated. Sending you my best today as always and best wishes for the upcoming contest,

This is a wonderful depiction of a brotherly love relationship that blossoms even between what be considered an unusual pairing. But whilst in sync those things don't really matter.

I think is a fine ekphrastic interpretation of this most interesting artwork.

Thank you for sharing. :)

It took me a while to recognize the panda. But I guess these two black and white creatures, names starting with p, are off to a good start on the road to firm friendship. bromance made me smile.

Thanks for sharing your quirky response to the club prompt.

Stay safe and blessed, Julia

I have not heard the word bromance before, it must be an American word as it does not sound like a word the English would use, you made me smile here, love Dolly x

Such a cute picture of a panda and a penguin! And I like your use of "bromance." They do look like they are good buddies but I don't think they would share the same food.

    Hi Helen :)
Thanks for your feedback! You're right, I can't see the panda chowing down on a fish with the head still on and I don't think the penguin would reckon much to bamboo! LOL x
