Dirty ol' smelly clothes. Mom's dig in up to their elbows, pulling from the hampers, into the washer. The daily grind, disgusting as it sounds, and is. LOL. Thanks for sharing.

So much of life is the daily mundane, isn't it! Thank goodness we can write about it.

I didn't realize you had a laundry chute! Also, a question: What type of poem is this? Just curious, I really enjoyed the format/foundation/whatever-you-call-it. Anyway, continue to be a lovely poet!!!

Hello, my dear little GGG! My "U" poem is a nonet, which, once I realized, I did it wrong. I began with 10 syllables! That was a No-No! I fixed it, thanks to you! Sending lots and lots of love!

What a fun write. And your nonet has a lovely shape - which is recognised as being an important component to this poem form. I loved the way you described how your laudry chute seems to have an affinity for toys. I have strangest objects in my washing machine. The most disruptive is paper tissues, and the worst was when my son's (active) passport went through a 90° cycle!

I do appreciate your lovely reviews, Katherine! Oh no about the passport! Gah! It is also terrible when lip balm goes through the dryer. Life stories.

Enjoyed your nonet about your fancy laundry chute. That's a fancy house! I always had to carry things up and down the stairs. But I see that the chute provided entertainment for the kids!

Thank you, Helen! It did feel very fancy. I do not have anything like that in my house now, either. Have a lovely day!
