Poetry is not my forte, but this one was warming, just like spring. I had to look up "evening" because I wasn't sure how many syllables it had. You're right and learned something new. Very nicely done. Good luck in the contest and stay well.

First, I really liked your poem. The longer days are certainly evident here in the north. I appreciate your mentioning that the full moon in April is called the pink moon.
