It's so sad what we do to ourselves and what we are still doing. If only we could communicate without condemning. I enjoyed your piece. Very thought provoking. It had all the required syllables. Good luck in the contest and stay well.

This work has reached the exceptional level

Among the many writings submitted for this 5/7/5 contest, it is my opinion that you have very credibly presented a winner! Whether you win this matters not as much as this is presented obviously from a winning soul! Therefore the rationale for the six stars!

Nice five/seven/five poem entry. I wrote something similar years ago, and I do believe "angels" do mourn our inability to be less destructive. But unfortunately, for us humans we are human and inclined to destruction. Like your touch of alliteration, and the presentation is great.

This 5-7-5, Even From There, has the right setup and suggests that the heavenly hosts will have a soft spot for mankind when the last dog is hung and the fat lady sings.

Lol. Who knows? Maybe they do, maybe they don't care one way or another seeing as how they're already home. Haha. Thank you for the great review and stars, Bill.
