This was a little spooky and in the end, a bit funny. A little man-made gem. Good luck in the contest. The groundskeeper has a warped sense of humor, but so do I. I smiled.

I think you did a good job with one, leading the reader down a particular pat and then undercut it with a nice sense of humour. Good stuff

I enjoyed this flash as it is one of my favorite genres to both read and write.
I liked the build up that ended in a whimsical way.
