Oh you've done it again :) Have you read While Sleeping in Peace, by GG? Just, you know, as a recommendation? I hear it's really splendid :)
I love your poem! I never realized you had a sister. I mean, you did have a picture of her in your office downstairs, but... I don't know. Love you,

Yes, I love your While Sleeping in Peace! Splendid, indeed. Yep, it is funny how you grow up with siblings, but them you rarely see each other when you are older. Yep, Teri is my only sister!

I was a Paul Harvey fan who sat waiting every evening for him to come on the radio. And of course, I'm not going to be nosey and ask what the parents said about you slipping outside to meet your boyfriend. LOL. Thanks for sharing.

Hehe, Ric, my now-husband reminds me I did not go out that night but rather talked to him from the open window. Guess my memory is a bit fuzzy on this. Sounds a little Shakespearean, hehe! Thanks for your note, as always!

Well, whether you went out that night or not, it sounds like you both were blessed with a happy ending! LOL.

Hehe, it turned out okay. :)

This reminds me very much of my two daughters growing up as one was neat and tidy and the other one messy! You captured love and life in these words, and I used to close the door to my eldest daughter's room as it was always untidy, I couldn't bear to look! A fine write, Love Dolly x

Ah, so fun. I guess that's why my mother always wanted my bed to be the one you could see from the hallway! It is a good thing we are all different. It would be a boring world if everything was tidy! Thank you for writing and sharing!

That's sweet that you have those memories. Sharing rooms probably was never easy with a sibling who is very different. I liked how you showed the contrast. I found the yellow font is hard to read on the pink background. Just FYI.

Thank you so much for your advice, Helen! I changed the font color and hope it is easier to read.
