Your poem about Hannah is delightful. It would make a cute children's picture book. There are lots of images created with your words to which children could relate. The rhyme is fun to read. Good luck.

What I see in this contest is many boys and girls writing poetry to and if they themselves were being told the words as they sat upon one's knees. All of these are very good. The voting will be difficult.

Very nice poem for a child. I am sure that this poem would easily entertain any child. I think reading poems to children is very important. My father read poems to me all the time.

So did my mom. She also played classical music all the time and took me to the art gallery in downtown Chicago...it rubbed off on me. Thanks for reading my poem. :)

Hi there,

I think you did a pretty good job with this piece. it reminds me of some of the picture books I used to read to my daughter.

Until her mom, April calls Hannah for lunch,- should probably have another comma after the mum's name.
