What a great ekphrastic limerick. The picture was so endearing. It truly showed a girl wanting to be a detective. I loved your words because they captured the humor of the poem.

That's a cute limerick about Anna the Sherlock Holmes wannabe. And I am glad she doesn't smoke a Havana (thanks for your notes!) and poses nicely with an unlit pipe!

A fine and funny poem that does well to draw from the image shown. She looks like a "top banana" to me! I also appreciate that your title also reflects what we're seeing in the picture. Very clever.
