I lost interest immediately with the longer sentence facing me until my eyes hit the last line which always interests me not that I am in the twilight of my living. So, I read it in reverse, and it works,

Thanks for the review - gave me something to think about. I prefer the impact of a short end, but maybe I didn't start it well enough to grab.
Thanks again - it's nice to have, and I prefer, an honest opinion - that way I can learn and improve.

Your reverse etheree is well-crafted. It was a nice surprise to read a reverse one. I like the message of it - that when all's said and done, the most important thing is love. I'm blind, so thank you for describing the photo in your notes.

Thank you for a lovely review.

When you are old, you do start thinking about your life as the Speaker here is. Indeed, he recounts all his deeds and poems, trying to determine "which is the finest." And what has he valued most? LOVE. All very nicely conveyed in this Etheree.

Thanks for a great review

This is the first 'reverse Etheree' I've read today, and I like it! One could look at this as a little depressing, but in reading your author's notes I see how you came to this from a creative standpoint. You did a great job of writing toward that final word, which turns the whole thing on its ear and causes the reader to think about what they are doing with their own life. Nicely done.
P.S. Don't take the "depressing" thing the wrong way, as no one writes about more depressing things than I do.

Thanks for a super review
Comment from Carolyn Dooley
I liked the picture, and the poem goes perfectly with the theme. Life and love. It sounds like they have lived a great life full of zest and love. Thank you for posting such an emotional poem. The person sounds confident in knowing where they are going in the end. Have a great day.
