Lovely, lovely, lovely! I had one more question, though, that we didn't get to during our little chat over the phone. How do I put up a banner? I am seriously thinking about doing that. I just REALLY want Faith to Fly to be SEEN! like, A LOT! Or is there a different way to get people to see it? I need people to see it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thank you kindly :)

So fun to chat for a minute! Oh, when I want to get a poem seen, I push the "Promote this" button, and I have to pay 9.95 member dollars, then it bumps up the page. I have never done a banner...

Well, as I've often said, when it comes to poetry, I wouldn't know a sonnet from sorbet. And as for a Rondeau with fifteen octo-lines, three stanzas, and however many rhymes and schemes, it sounds more to me like the name of a basketball player I once knew. LOL. Thanks for sharing.

Hehe, I do not profess to know a lot about poetry, either, Ric, but April seemed a good excuse to dive into our Poetry Dances resource page and experiment with a few. Thanks again for reading my trial runs!

I do not know much about poetry forms, however, this is a well-written poem showing the comfort and memories of the living room from guests, to mom's curio and the piano practice.
Very well done
Best wishes and regards,
Mary

Dear Mary, I do not know much about poetry forms, either! I am learning by studying the "Poetry Dances" section on FanStory. I just thought April would give me a good excuse to try my hand at some of the styles. It is a good exercise for my brain! I always love to hear from you. Sending good wishes!

An excellent rondeau..The repeating line works perfectly to link the different facets of your living room that you depict so vividly.
Thank you for your hospitality..It was wonderful to pay you a visit today.
Stay safe and blessed

I don't know much about those formal poetry forms but you appear to have done the rondeau well and presented to us the family activities in the living room. It sounds somewhat similar to my own childhood experience of piano practice, a big mirror, mum's curios, and stacks of National Geographic magazines with their yellow covers.

Hehe, I don't know much about poetry forms, either, but I decided April was a good month to study the "Poetry Dances" section on FanStory and try a few. I always appreciate that you take time to read my experiments! Ah, yes...the yellow Geographic covers. :)

A thoughtful reflection on this cozy living room. What you described sounds like my previous house with the living room to the right of the front door. This current one has a living room with all kinds of tents for the cat. Someday beyond this pandemic, we'll be able to use the living room again for guests. Lol. Enjoyed your poem!

Thank you again, Helen! Oh, I am sorry to hear you are still in the throws of the pandemic. Things are normalizing a bit here, though our own living room right now is full of computers and desks in our make-shift home office. Sending good wishes!
