Good luck wishes in regards to the Love Poem Poetry contest, Gypsy. This tanka was wonderful and it truly showed the beauty of the passing time by one's self. It was a great painting of Ikenaga Yasunari, I really enjoyed it. Blessed be n hugs!

This is lovely and romantic. I like the colors used to help express the mood. The picture is lovely, as well. Your Author's Note is also a helpful aid to readers who might not be familiar with the tanka form. It encourages them to write some themselves. Excellent posting!!

Lovely romance poem! I think you will do well in the contest. You covered that sense of longing so well and I liked how she "holds on to the moonlight" savoring the time together.
