I like this poem- introduction to a new type- good picture presentation- informative- connecting with metaphors well - took time to research topic- and the associated feeling the subject- farmers - must have experienced- good job.

A beautiful picture, Gypsy. I appreciate your narrative notes about crows, it is interesting that it is called a 'murder'. I enjoyed your words because they showed that after all the farmer's sweat and I am imagining that his spouse and children, all took part in. Then the crows descended. Blessed be n hugs.

This poem feels emotional and moody. As a Native American, we believe that crows symbolize change. If they fly overhead, change is coming your way. Beautiful presentation

KL, thank you very much for your excellent review and for sharing your nationality. I am from Spain. I love the Native American culture. It's interesting that the crow is seen as a symbol of change. In Europe and the USA crows are associated with darkness ... death or a message from beyond. I just find them fascinating creatures.

Gypsy,
Your dark poem is beautifully executed.
Some people on earth say one is either hunted or a hunter, though I hope it is not this way.
The crows in your story reap what others have sown with hard work and sweat.
Excellent work, Gypsy.
Best wishes,
AFA,
Cindy

This is an excellent poem Gypsy, the narrative is great, and the theme is good too, it's amazing how crows seem to exist all over the world, we have magpies, which are incredibly intelligent also. Beautifully written Gypsy blessings Roy

This excellent poem describes one of the man-to-animal relationships--with the watchful creature waiting to chow down on the crops the hard-working farmer has worn himself out to produce.

Crows are very interesting birds and can grow to be the size of many cats. I didn't know they can talk like parrots. But they must be pretty smart because the are the one species that has lived longer on the planet than any other. Best of luck with this piece.

Another fine poem, Gypsy--and you're absolutely correct; they are extremily smart; they're also extremily noisy--I for one don't mind them, Vultures of The wires!

I have a lot of crows around my house. We have a sky light window and once a crow kept knocking on it. It was really weird and scary.
Thank you very much for taking the time to read and review my poem. Gypsy hugs :)
