I've wondered where you were and why you hadn't been posting these chapters as I've been expecting for what seems like two weeks. Thanks for sharing.

I wrote a 5000 word story while doing some research for Sea of Galilee. But, back to that book now. Onward and upward.
That is providing I quit having more tumors.
Since we last talked along those lines, I had my first three month skin check done.
Had a new tumor above my left wrist.
Oncologist froze that one and it went away.
He biopsied one below my left elbow, for the second time, as he told me the company they had been using had been sending back erroneous biopsies so they replaced them.
Of course, it comes back Basal Cell Carcinoma, and a surgery is set for the 20th of April to cut it out. The first report, from the company his office ran off, was it was not cancer.
Since then, and my Oncologist is not aware of this, I have 2 more tumors that have appeared right where the Basal Cell Carcinoma is.
Hopefully, he will remove all 3 in one fell swoop.
These tumors can stop at any time, if you know what I mean.
And, they can quit moving higher up the arm.
There are certain lymph nodes in arms, you know.
Appreciate the review. Of course, you know that.

Thanks for the update. You sure have had a hard time with these tumors continuing to pop up. Hopefully they can knock out these three and you can finally be done with it. As I told you before, I spent three years and eight different surgeries with repeated tumors. But thankfully they finally quit coming and, that's what I'm hoping happens for you. Wish you the best!

That is 2 of us who hope the tumors stop. A couple more cuts and I will catch up to you in that department...hopefully not though. Will keep you informed of what transpires.

Hi Brett, this is just so interesting. I do admire you for your insight and research. Now, the old testament and the known history behind it has always been very close to my heart. Thank you so much for sharing this with us.
May I ask you, where does your interest stems from? Ulla:)))

I wasn't aware that David had so many wives. I guess it was the custom for the kings to have many wives. Also Solomon was David's son by Bathsheba. He wasn't the next in line to be king but David had promised Bathsheba her son would be king and apparently that was the one God wanted to be kin. I know David was in Christi genealogy but I don't know about Solomon.

Seems David had a bunch of wives, and concubines. Appreciate your insightful review.

I like how you explained the genealogy. It was much easier to see the connections than with the Bible. Does the Hebrew bible/Jewish contain any books that we do not have in the Christian Bible? You did a great job as always. Have a wonderful day. Shirley

In Hebrew Bible there are 24 books. In Christian Bible 39.
Christian Bible makes Samuel, Kings, and Chronicles 2 books each. Hebrew Bible does not.
Christian Bible makes Ezra-Nehemiah 2 books. Hebrew Bible combines them in one.
Christian Bible contains Song of Solomon. Hebrew Bible does not.
Appreciate the review.

The metaphoric use of your work title, "Sea of Galilee reminisces the diverse and near ubiquitous status of the genealogy of Jesus Christ.
I am especially enthused about your strict focus on David, and more so your in depth use of the book of Samuel and that of Chronicles in unfolding the the Deuteronomistic history of Israel.
Your work highlights the progenitor status of David as the superordinate earthly father of Jesus Christ; with an uncountable array of forebears.
Your work earns its texture through its effective use of historical anecdotes that point to David as the forebear of the Messiah.
Excellent work. Keep the flag flying.

Thank you for sharing this with us. I was worried about you since I have not seen any of your posts lately. I hope everything is going okay and I am praying.
As for the post, thank you for describing the lineage of David. He was a very complicated person.

Four new tumors found at my 3 month skin check.
Surgery on the 20th of April to remove, hopefully, all of them.
Appreciate your concern and the review.

I'll continue to pray.

Much appreciated.

Thank you for sharing this informative writing. I can never understand why there is so much violence in the Bible and the individuals in the Bible. Throughout the whole book, there is murder, adultery, greed, etc. It has always struck me as odd. Nice writing.
