This poem has good use or metaphor and personification to describe the effect of a snowstrom on nature. It is a persfect mix of words and artwork.
It also reminds us there is beauty in all seasons and that the beauty is a gift from god.

Thank you. No, it's not wintry enough yet here, and we don't get many snowfalls in the city and immediate surrounds... maybe three times each winter.

I read this poem then did a double take as your clever word play registered.
The imagery is familiar to me as I look back on winter from this greening spring day. But the idea of trees making obeisance to the gods of winter provides a fresh twist.

I don't see snow-laden branches very often but my thoughts have been turning to winter lately with the shortening days and the chill in the air here.
I often humble myself to nature, so the thought of nature humbling herself to God occurred to me.

A very clever pun in using "bough."

I bet you don't see scenes like this in New Zealand? I saw these scenes when I holidayed in France and Switzerland for a few weeks and it is really pretty, I love your words here, heavy boughs weighed down like this sort of slows down time, much enjoyed, love Dolly x
