Every time I read one of your poems, the pain behind your words hurts and saddens me. I don't know what I would do if I had to experience the death of either of my children, or wife or grandsons. I hope someday you'll be able to move beyond your grief, difficult as it will be, and cherish the happiness you had for the short time your son was on earth. You are both in my thoughts. May the Almighty grant you peace. Stay well.

A lot of people write because it makes them feel good inside other people right because it makes them feel good inside and they like to see their reviews.
I write to grieve, teach, touch, and try to solve life's mysteries.

This poem resonates on a lot of different levels. I sense pain and loss most obvious but there is more. I read guilt, betrayal, psychic attack, misery, and depression. But I also read faith that carried you through. I'm sorry about your son. But you gave him a lasting tribute despite this terrible tragedy. It's clear to me you put a lot of time and energy into this poem. I feel it is very well written. Very well expressed.

Ricky, it breaks my heart when I read your writings. I can understand, though. It has been 31 years since I lost my son in a tragic hunting accident on November 30th, 1985. It is so sad to lose a child at such a young age. I grieve with you, my friend.

I now understand something you told me last week, that I didn't understand then.
You said you use your Sundays to write, to praise God, however there was a time that you cursed him. As today is the 35th anniversary of my sister's daughter's passing, I can say I truly understand how much that pain follows you through your life. If not letting God help you bear that pain, I know with most certainly that satan would be consoling you with his lies! God Bless you Rick and I just said a prayer for you, that you have more peace within your �� after all these years! God Bless!
