I now have read all the contronyms in the contest before realizing what is it the originator wanted. Perplexing. Who would think of that? Yours fit perfectly and I appreciate the defining of each line.

Well done. I only dabble in poetry, but this was an interesting format. I had to read the definition of a contranym twice before I understood what you were trying to accomplish. Then I reread your poem. I liked your writing and word choice, and you achieved the defined contranym. Nice work. Good luck in the contest and stay well.

Hi there,
Firstly, many thanks for entering the competition. You will need to alter your last line to meet the requirements of the challenge. The last line needs to a single word contronym (the same one as the opening one). It needs to be on a line on its own.

My mistake. I interpreted the instructions as the last line had to contain the contronym. I will fix it now. Thank you for pointing this out!
