This is a beautiful poem full of colour and information, Beth. Thanks for sharing this explanation of how the date for Easter is determined. Some of us may have forgotten. :)

Thank you for the review and comments. I was curious about why Easter fell as such different times too and was surprised the moon was involved.

I enjoyed this well written poem. It's an interesting read in that your writing is both informative and buoyant at the same time. I know nothing of moons, their names or powers. But after reading your beautiful poem and your notes, I now have an appreciation. Thanks for sharing this with FS.

This is very lovely and descriptive, I love the glow of the moon especially on the water. My son liked this too, as he loves looking at the night sky. Thanks for sharing. :)

Not only is this poem lovely in its imagery and sentiments, but it's also informative and educational! The pink moon is a special one that welcomes spring - as well as reminds us of Christ's sacrifice. Thank you for sharing- I also love the artwork.

I like this poem very much and found your explanation at the bottom interesting. My favorite line is: "sprinkling resolve and seeds of sweet accord." The photo you chose to accompany the poem is beautiful.

A bunch of my nurse friends are always talking about how many crazies come into the hospital whenever there is a full moon. I used to think that was silly talk, but over the last few years they've proved it to me. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you Rick. My daughter who is a nurse says the same thing. For some reason more babies are born when the moon is full. If it has the power to pull the ocean tides, it apparently has a pull on people as well. People with dementia are affected by the sun going down. There is a medical term called 'sun downing'. They get very anxious and act up. They probably howl at the full moon.

I've howled at the moon myself. And many times until the sun was coming up. LOL.

Thank you Tom. I appreciate the review and comments. I used to be more of a stargazer when I lived in the country and the stars were so clear at night. Now I don't see as much of them.
