That was a sad poem. There are plenty emotions to embrace. I still have to marry and make a baby (at 49 years old). Birth should be a simple process for every woman, couple, family. I wish you the best. Be blest :)

Thank you for sharing your poem. It was very deep and it showed your sadness and how it has ripped you apart. I hope you get better and that is all I have to say. Death and pain and memories are the most deep-cutting for everyone. Take care.

Having a very close relative who shares your condition, I can empathize with the pain you express through this very moving piece. My heart goes out to you. Written with courage.

This is a heartbreaking piece, and one that I can certainly identify with, having lost several babies. There's just no explaining that feeling, and no, you never forget. And then, when you juxtapose faith with that loss, it's impossible to express completely. I sympathize with you and wish you peace, and in the meantime, it's a blessing that you're talented and might help another along the way just by writing poetry.

I emphasize with your pain, but just think that you are not alone. Millions of women are facing this, and it is a raging pain and agony in each of their lives.

A lot of women make a choice to adopt, though it's a hard decision and many husbands want their own child and would not adopt.

A very emotional and heart wrenching poem. I am with you, and as I am sure, we all are. This is our international family.

Time heals, it heals slowly, but it does heal in time. I pray for your healing.

This is so moving and honest and the depth of pain is incredible, which has made your writing very powerful. Both my daughters had miscarriages, and although I felt their grief, I wasn't walking in their shoes. My niece had nine miscarriages, some after ivf treatments they thought initially to be successful - but she then astoundingly has conceived naturally and now has two toddlers. Don't give up, and don't give up on your faith, even when your whole being is collapsing from grief and despair.
It's a beautiful and authentic write. Best wishes.
Wendy

This is a powerful poem with a strong message. You did a nice job with the prompt and this is a good contest entry. Your words were tugging on my heart not because I could relate but because your words were so touching. Well done.

This is so heart-wrenching, and my heart goes out to you. You've told your story so beautifully, but know that while others can't fully feel the depth of your pain, we feel your words, and they affect us.

This is a most moving free verse, tearing at my heart like you cannot imagine. I DO understand because for five years I went through the emotions, the sadness, the despair and the pain you have so amazingly described. Your words are so well chosen and so rich with meaning, I wanted to cry, and then to hug you, and then to at least give your poem six stars, but I don't have any left. Anyway, it is well written and emotional and strong. Keep writing! MM

I know that six stars will not take away your pain but probably knowing that a person does care will help ease the pain you are feeling. To write about your pain is the start in the right direction.
