This is very beautiful spiritual poetry. It has a great flow and rhyme scheme. The first sound of a baby, after taking life's breath. To the rise of the soul, at the time of death.

This is a beautifully worded rhyming poem. Your rhyme scheme is on point. I like that you listed unexpected things as gifts from God such as.....rise of the soul, at the time of death and the walk of the old. Made me stop and think of why they would be gifts. In the case of a person suffering, crippling pain death would be a gift. If an old person has limited mobility, he or she is walking would be a gift. It's a good poem.
